Well, here we go with posting #1. I have no idea who is going to be reading this, so I'll just start by saying "hi" to everyone. Well, not everyone. There are a few people I'm really not speaking to, so I do NOT say "hi" to them. In fact, if you are one of those people I'm not speaking to (and you know who you are) and have read this far, I want the "hi" back. Please deposit the "Hi" in the comments section. Yes, that's right, I want them back. And I'll be counting.
As for the rest of you, welcome! This is "Joefood." For those of you who don't know the expression, "Joefood"describes food that I (Joe) will eat. This usually means anything deep fried, covered in gravy, or barbecued. I chose it as the title of this blog because this blog will cover things that appeal to me. Mostly it will be about places with great food, but you may see the occasional posting about animation, Disney related stuff, comic books or amusement parks. After all, we all need diversity.
I thought I'd start the proceedings by posting a favorite cartoon of mine. I'm going with one that is not well-know, but always gets a laugh out of me. It's an Oscar-nominated cartoon from 1955 from the Walter Lantz studios. It's one of only 4 cartoons the legendary Tex Avery made for Lantz before Tex left theatrical cartoons entirely. Enjoy "The Legend of Rock-a-Bye Point..."
